When most people think of journalism, they think of writing or broadcasting to receive news, but the pictures that go along with all those words and videos were taken by a professional kind of journalist that specializes in still photography and can sometimes turn into a danger.

One of the most decorated photojournalist specialized in military conflicts.  Eddie Adams was a photojournalist who found himself taking photos of over 13 different wars in a time period of three decades.

Eddie Adams first experience with journalism was in the early 1950’s when he was in the United States Marine Corps as a combat photographer.  He was stationed in Korea during the Korea conflict and found his niche in the field of journalism that would become his strong legacy. Adams went on to cover many other conflicts until his death and won the Pulitzer Prize for his work in Vietnam in 1969.  Adams has been awarded over 500 photography awards in his lifetime.

This photograph is very striking, disturbing, moving and unfortunately, spontaneous. I never thought that I would see one picture like that, this is really. It is very disturbing 'cause it's is really, just thinking that this has happened at one moment of his life, I feel much horror. Still the face of the person who holding the weapon is very blurry, his arm causes fear. I don't like this picture, but I think it is a good picture to think about humanity, and about humanity of today. Actually everything has changed so much?
