<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The first day of class, our new teacher gave to us a list with four options, four words to select just one. The words were: <b><i>Sun, Air, Tree, Earth</i></b>. And we had to choose the one that represents us and explain why. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Well, I have to say that I love these kind of test to meet yourself better and improve your imagination. So I was really surprised and excited, because it was the first class of English, and it was nice, not bored or theoretical like the others nine subjects that we do.</span></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_8RPZvTRYr9-hhvyT4qOYACx08wM7VJ779m3HmqQfa4YFrTEB0ZzD7Cnunje4wzo3dHDibCRSlpk1579aIYUJHxdJSyiI73YFtxS-Y3fOTn5CyqvQRnsqTkcQHP0yaVxGH1GCA3P8zyZ_xDg8XK6TMkNamdzj2draQa6pQr3qPEiOqrYiDNVOUjI5IbxIgyK0u-sYyWWBovEx8sB7hwKXsfeCJUMcDHcm6MhmW9vy-duQgVWeJ2nPw-rRqhC1YUeqNjLc-PunvDJq8rsF2wzG8MjCqt88FkHjqdN6LdcBUcm8qulvR-H3AZ03olG6EvUXOZI0A3sy57ElGZLPc6iENKKF0dJpgyR5LpOOSfwmqDiZBZemF0b22jqpMysfUuJWOLHwWKLv1BYujy1TLru7RRimJSKng8nzwHamyqnriF6CygSWE7cMcLI9gcP5-Xy9qpJliKAsLdln4eqagEJ45m7WlxxeYZzfko2cZ0F66TcQIXOUMTRrcyvVs0qOqA5rBxxxq0xmPVDlK_4dknM2fauJBkaPnbFzDw6boxB9muvxbU_88cfMvBc7hbDOAe-LlABUr6iYd7PZqV5Fx-c-4GXdaD9xHINL9icIo9e4v4=w525-h700-no" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_8RPZvTRYr9-hhvyT4qOYACx08wM7VJ779m3HmqQfa4YFrTEB0ZzD7Cnunje4wzo3dHDibCRSlpk1579aIYUJHxdJSyiI73YFtxS-Y3fOTn5CyqvQRnsqTkcQHP0yaVxGH1GCA3P8zyZ_xDg8XK6TMkNamdzj2draQa6pQr3qPEiOqrYiDNVOUjI5IbxIgyK0u-sYyWWBovEx8sB7hwKXsfeCJUMcDHcm6MhmW9vy-duQgVWeJ2nPw-rRqhC1YUeqNjLc-PunvDJq8rsF2wzG8MjCqt88FkHjqdN6LdcBUcm8qulvR-H3AZ03olG6EvUXOZI0A3sy57ElGZLPc6iENKKF0dJpgyR5LpOOSfwmqDiZBZemF0b22jqpMysfUuJWOLHwWKLv1BYujy1TLru7RRimJSKng8nzwHamyqnriF6CygSWE7cMcLI9gcP5-Xy9qpJliKAsLdln4eqagEJ45m7WlxxeYZzfko2cZ0F66TcQIXOUMTRrcyvVs0qOqA5rBxxxq0xmPVDlK_4dknM2fauJBkaPnbFzDw6boxB9muvxbU_88cfMvBc7hbDOAe-LlABUr6iYd7PZqV5Fx-c-4GXdaD9xHINL9icIo9e4v4=w525-h700-no" width="240" /></span></a><br />
<br />
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">So, initially I thought that I was like <i><b>Air</b></i>, and then I ask to myself, how it would be? Like a feeling of freedom? Or like a feeling of nothing?</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">And almost instantly I thought that I wasn't like that. So I thought again and asked to myself, what of these words are you? And then I saw myself, a few years ago beside that beautiful and lush tree, in France, <i>Forêt de Tronçais</i>. I felt a beautiful feeling with this tree, a feeling of real freedom, the freedom that I was looking for. Because it is like feeling the roots of myself, with the earth, in a fixed place, without leaving, like your real home. If I'm a <b><i>Tree</i></b>, I'm my own home, and that sounds really good for me. Knowing myself and be happy just with me, I believe in that kind of freedom.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">And you may think, "a tree is not exactly the most free option that you can choose, it can't be moved because it is fixed on a place". Yeah, well, that's exactly my definition of freedom. I think you are really free when you are feeling the roots of yourself and you are good with it, if it is not the case, I think you are trying to move, because maybe you want to escape, and then you are not really free. If you accept yourself, just the way you are, you will be always good, and it does not care where you are, because you are always in your body. If you think that your human body is your home, you will always at home. And a tree, is like your human body, just your home. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">And then, in the following slide, there are the definitions of the type of person that you are, in function to the word that you have chosen: </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>Earth</i></b>: systematic, logical, tidy, organized... STRICT! </span><br />
<i><b>Tree</b></i>: balanced, sensible, calm, fond of nature, ambitious, strong... RELUCTANT TO CHANGES!<br />
<i><b>Sun</b></i>: active, optimistic, lively, cheerful... TOO INDEPENDENT!<br />
<b><i>Air</i></b>: creative, imaginative, dreamy... YOU DON'T STICK TO REALITY!<br />
<br />
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hey, I’m Lianett Pérez, as you know, but all my friends call me Lily. I prefer this than Lianett, it is very seriously! </div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I think we had to explain some things about us, so I would like to explain what I think now of my future.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://static.skillshare.com/uploads/project/d1f15799455c86bced09032f8b995338/dc9fdda4" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://static.skillshare.com/uploads/project/d1f15799455c86bced09032f8b995338/dc9fdda4" width="187" /></a><br />
<br />
Well... Right now I'm studying the humanities subjects, like Latin, Greek, Literature, History... Because it is what I like for now, but I don't know what I want to study. In 4th of ESO I thought to study Psychology, you know, to help another people, which kind of person wouldn't want this in his future? But, unluckily it is more scientific of what I could imagine... And now, I really have no a idea what I want to study, to do, or to work in my life. I only know that I don't want to wake up with sixty and realize I hate my job. I think if I really like a job, it isn't a job because it becomes in a good part of your life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/a8/1d/94/a81d94da6e060c69120a11db5aea613e.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de never let fear decide your future" border="0" height="200" src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/a8/1d/94/a81d94da6e060c69120a11db5aea613e.png" width="132" /></a></div>
So, I took a decision, when I finish the baccalaureate I would like to live in the United States for about one or maybe two years. Part of my family live there, and I would like to see them too. But principally to learn English 100%, and take it like the first language. This is my first dream for the moment. And I have to take a decision for my future but I don’t want to depress myself with this, so until this moment, I would like to travel and know new places, people, or cultures... Because we have to keep going but I really think that take this decision is very important in our life, and future. Maybe it is the most important question for us, what would we like to study, or to do. But first of all we are here to be happy, of course. And now I had to study hard and be the person who I want, to be happy. That’s all that I can say now, maybe tomorrow it is different, but for now, I really enjoy the languages.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
By the way, of course I actually expect to earn good grades and be proud of my work in this high school putting my best effort.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Every single one of you has something that you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer, and you have the responsibility to discover what that is.” -Barack Obama. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The last one is the sentence of the speech that I have chosen. Why? Well, I think it represent very good my important question in this moment of my life. I totally agree with this sentence, I think we actually have a responsibility, not just with the society, but with us too. We deserve to be happy, and to be proud of what we are. And we are what we do, so right now, we’re students, but in a future, we’ll be a workers, so we have to choose very well and set ours owns goals if we want to be successful. So I can say that my first objective now is meet challenges in the future, and believe always in myself. Just doing this is how I can find what I really would like to study in the future.<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;">
</span></span></div>

I am a young student woman and I am writing you because while we were doing a project of our "Perfect Gap Year" I realized I want to work with you and help in all the way I would can. I consider myself an entrepreneurial person, with great aptitudes, skills for learning and a great ability in customer service.</div>

I really love to help people, and see how you can bring smiles of nothing.</div>

Yesterday night I watched "Into the wild" and I stayed absolutely shocked while I was watching the film. So, "amazing" is the best way to describe that feeling, the story, the facts, just amazing.<br />
<br />
<div>
Probably, you -whoever you are- have watched the movie (if you haven't go watch it right now) so you know more o less what the feeling is after living that story. <br />
<br />
A lot of people around me had recomended it for a long time but it was one of this things you say "yes, I will watch it" but you don't really mean it. Three days ago I discovered the soundtrack, And I decided to finally watch the movie. <br />
<br />
What can I say? It's amazing, perfect. I wish I could met a boy like Alexander Supertramp. An intelligent and restless guy who, after finishing college, goes to see the world carring nothing and only with one purpose: finding himself through life and wild nature. <br />
<br />
After one day of seeing this film I can say I still shocked. It just touched me so deeply. The story is great, the main character is unbelieveble; how strong, sensible and sensitive he is! And in the whole film there's so much humanity and purity. Human essence, biggest health. I loved it. </div>
<div>
<br />
And it is based in real facts! Christopher McCandless was the really guy, it is unbelieveble.<br />

<div>
<span style="text-align: justify;">And well, there are some quotes I love from the film, well from Christopher McCandless:</span></div>
<br />
<i><b>“Happiness [is] only real when shared”</b></i><br />
<div>
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div>
<b><i>“I read somewhere... how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong, but to feel strong... to measure yourself at least once.”</i></b></div>
<i><b><br />“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.” </b></i>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10891840015014696429noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4221049457085323316.post-11474741595231282932017-05-28T08:01:00.001-07:002017-05-29T12:02:52.391-07:00Violinist Plays During Protest<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nowadays, in Caracas, Venezuela, the situation is very difficult, and we just focus the situation like: It is not with us, so we can't get into that problem. Well, the news is; in Caracas, Venezuela people have been protesting violently and<a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=clash" target="_blank"> <b>clashing</b></a> for over a month because they want new elections, because now there is Nicolas Maduro as a President. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In a violent <a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=protest" target="_blank"><b>protest</b></a>, the police targeted the protesters with tear gas, and the protesters just can protect themselves from the gas behind<a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=makeshift" target="_blank"> makeshift</a> shields.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=amid" target="_blank"><b>Amid </b></a>of the trouble, one protester stayed calm and played his violin, until a member of GNB ("<i>Guardia Nacional Bolivariana</i>") took the violin by the ropes and broke it. The protester was hurt and disappointed. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm so sorry about this boy, and this situation, it is really <a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=maddening" target="_blank"><b>maddening</b></a>, I can't imagine leaving home and find all the police and all these people fighting because they want their rights, just human rights that right now they are not given to them. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
(PD: I'm sorry too for can't put a video in English, I really look for but I'm not finding anything... And I really think it is important, really important to see how disappointed was this guy, and how much pain can suffer the society over a government, and of course how much damage can cause a corrupt government.)</div>

First it was fire for prehistorical human beings, then it was writing, finally electricity (among others). Now, what has changed our world and society is Internet. Is Internet going to improve our world as the others discoverings did? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<a href="http://www.mindmagic123.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/webassets/.pond/internet.addiction.1.jpg.w300h247.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de internet addiction" border="0" height="164" src="http://www.mindmagic123.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/webassets/.pond/internet.addiction.1.jpg.w300h247.jpg" width="200" /></a><div style="text-align: justify;">
On one hand -and only hand for a lot of people- we have the obvious advantatges, like the whole world immediate communication or the access to all kind of imaginable information (usefull or not, depending what you look for).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the other hand, Internet makes our lives so much easier that we are letting them control us. Often, everything that makes things easier ends becoming an enemy because it reduces us -human beings or privacity- at our minimum capacity of what we are and what we can do. And we can do a lot by ourselves. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Consequently, Internet is making us believe that we can't do or know a lot; and as result our behavior is getting worse because we trust Internet too much instead of ourselves.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In conclusion I think Internet can not change the world for the better because it's damaging the poeple on it too badly. We should find a balance. Figure out what we can do by ourselves and don't trust these actions to Internet or our smartphones for example. By this way we would become less dependant on it (it's clear that a big part of the population IS dependant) and we would learn that we are so worth it.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

"We have almost learnt to respect the world". I don't know who says that but I wouldn't. And you only need to watch or read the news to see that it is not true. Or just look around us. Do you think this place, were you are right now, it's respected? <br />
<br />
In my opinion the world has been the last priority in general for everyone, specially politics and powerful people that only care about their money (and they are actually the ones that can do more about it). But now that has become on emercency, well it's necessary a priority. Or at least it should. <br />
<br />
Maybe now people it's a bit more conscious about it. There are more campaigns to try to catch attention and trying to make a change. But the problem is that even these campaigns, a lot of them, are only propagande. So again, we have<b> money</b> and<b> not looking after our planet</b>.<br />
But well, there are actually the ones taht really want to do something for this home that we all share.<br />
<br />
To finish, just say -once more- that I think we have a long way to go before we can say the sentence "We have almost learnt to respect the world". Actually, in my opinion, we have forgotten to do it, because once we knew how to do. So maybe the solution is look at the past.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used this video in our presentation of "Consumerism", but I think it is quite appropriate on this theme too. So there you have it!</div>

It seems like there were three suns in the sky, well literally there were, WOW, amazing! <br />
<br />
It is so weird to explain, well the middle sun was actually the real one, but the others, on the left and the right were just a smaller<b><a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=reflection"> reflections</a> </b>of the real sun. I mean, there were not real. <br />
<br />
Then a local<b> <a href="http://www.wordreference.com/definition/meteorological">meteorological</a></b> centre explained that this phenomenon is actually an optical phenomenon, known as an "<a href="http://www.wordreference.com/definition/anthelion%20"><b>anthelion</b></a>", which means that the high sunshine in the sky and the light passing through snow crystals in the air caused the reflection of the others two.<br />
<br />
<div>
It appears only when very specific conditions are given, for example, the anhelion can appear but the temperature must be lower than -30ºC, and the air must be filled with vapour and clouds (ice crystals.)<br />
<br />
Well, I really do not know what I can say in my 'opinion', it is a real phenomenon, one of the many that our home, the Earth, has. I would like in a moment of my life, live something like this, and used it to respect even more the place where we live, because it is really a box of surprises. And the nature has more than we can see offering to us, so please, live and enjoy it, but especially respect it.<br />

In Baghdad, Ali al-Moussawi, classified as a <b><a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=bookworm" target="_blank">bookworm</a></b> turned his van into a "mobil bookshop". He makes up to $4,000 a month selling books around the city. His bookshop has succeeded enough to hire four persons to help him. </div>
<div>
<a href="http://s2.dmcdn.net/iruQo/x240-0UO.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de bookshop mobile in baghdad" border="0" src="http://s2.dmcdn.net/iruQo/x240-0UO.jpg" height="179" width="320" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ali said that it took nine months to <a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=achieve" style="font-weight: bold;" target="_blank">achieve</a> his idea and he really hope that people who do not read a lot, may be interested in a future, because his<b> <a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=aim" target="_blank">aim</a> </b>is <b><a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=%20promote" target="_blank">promote</a></b> reading. Something that I appreciate very much.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said that he wants to develop too his bookshop and ‘impove its current shape’</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He changes the books on the <b><a href="http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=display" target="_blank">display</a></b> when he is moving the van, because there are many areas divided still, and in Sunni areas, are most famous the books about Saddam Hussein.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
Well the news is really nteresting, especially because we do not expect that one people who wants to change something takes it so seriously and sacrifices a big part of himself to make people think and that is so beautiful in our humanity. The power to want to give without having to recieve anything in return more than a smile or have help. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, I realized that I did each and every one of the blog entries listening the Ed Sheeran's new album, and I don't know actually what to do, so I'm happy to think that I can comment and share with all of you my real favourite music, you know, that type of music that when you're listen it just makes you smile and that makes you jump for joy, amazing right? Well let's to see.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After all I'm happy because I'm doing my last news post (now sounds "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dK2tDK9grQ&index=4&list=PLjp0AEEJ0-fGi7bkjrGhBLUF9NMraL9cL" target="_blank">Shape Of You</a>"). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm extremely happy because Ed Sheeran's new album (he wrote in these last three years like 100 songs... it's a pity they can't be all of them in the album) went on sales March 3, after these three years in solitary confinement. His last work was "x" (Multiply), published in 2014, and the past was "+" (Plus). Well, now it is "÷" the third work of his career, (Divide) okay, maybe it is funny, but it's so interesting too. (Sounding "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TpcBDJZsJA&index=7&list=PLjp0AEEJ0-fGi7bkjrGhBLUF9NMraL9cL" target="_blank">Happier</a>" now... ups! actually sounding "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv2rLZmbPMA&list=PLjp0AEEJ0-fGi7bkjrGhBLUF9NMraL9cL&index=3" target="_blank">Dive</a>")</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"The third album is on the way and it's the best I've done so far. I'll see you all next fall, thanks for being amazing, "he said in December 2015, when he left the networks. His return came in mid-December 2016, when he published a blue image in his accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which confirmed that the third album was on the way. And I have to confess, if you see around this entry, I mean my blog I think you can understand that my favourite colour is blue (if you can't, ask to the turtle on the left), so yes, I love that, so much too. (Right now: "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B9J3lEyffA&index=10&list=PLjp0AEEJ0-fGi7bkjrGhBLUF9NMraL9cL" target="_blank">What Do I Know?</a>" -Amazing-).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On January 6, Ed Sheeran presented the two songs, which quickly climbed to the top of digital streaming platforms. I have to be honest, I was a little (just a little) disapponited. I liked it but not as much as I love his others songs. I mean, I love Ed because his lyrics and melodies are special, relaxed, and he's really concient of what he says, and what he's trying to say. And I think these two were not exactly that, maybe more "Rihanna" or other style. (I say Rihanna because the first song was being written for her, but Ed liked it too much and decided to put a touch of it.) So I was thinking: I can't wait for all this new music to come. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But the album was out, and YES, again Ed Sheeran published an AMAZING album, and made me smile with every song and jump for joy. So want to give thanks to him for creates an amazing world into us. ("<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIB8EWqCPrQ&index=12&list=PLjp0AEEJ0-fGi7bkjrGhBLUF9NMraL9cL" target="_blank">Supermarket Flowers</a>", maybe the best.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These are all the songs in the album. I recommend you to listen all ot them, but if not, at least the ones that I put on the text. :) You have a link in each song. </div>

Nowadays, one of the most important problems that we have to solve is the pollution in our world. Why is it one of the most important? Well, it is because the pollution affect all the planet. Actually, are we so selfish to destroy all the planet with our expensive caprices?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now the pollution in the world is causing irreversible problems in the atmosphere. The atmosphere, who is essential for the life, is suffering big alterations which are causing a real problem for the human species, and the other living organisms, in fact on all over the planet. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The atmosphere contaminated can to damage the health of the people and impact on the plants and the animals. But also the changes produced in the quimic composition chemistry of the atmosphere can change the climate, producing acid rain or destroying the ozone, and all of them are phenomenon with a big global importance and repercussion. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<a href="https://www.opednews.com/populum/cachedimages/s_500_opednews_com_0_---jpg_50710_20160123-154.gif" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de pollution in our world news" border="0" height="209" src="https://www.opednews.com/populum/cachedimages/s_500_opednews_com_0_---jpg_50710_20160123-154.gif" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The means of transport, like a car or a motorcycle, produce a toxic gas which destroys the atmosphere.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But not only are this things damaging the atmosphere. The electricity, the medicaments, the cleaning products, or when we turn on the heating or the factories also damage it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The atmosphere in a near future will cause a climate change, wich we are already beginning to notice.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The world is going down to 2 degrees, here this is not noticeable, but in the Arctic the ice is thawing, and the scientist warn that if we do nothing about it, in the future the ice will completely melt away.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Also the weather is causing problems in the seas, and some animals are having problems for adapt at the changes, and change their homes,and for this suddenly appear dangerous animals on beaches where they have never been seen.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, all these things are happen now, and will continue to happen, so if we can dream, and wish another different world, I wish a world without “climate change”, a world who respect the nature, and take care for the environment. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Just with a little detail of one person throwing away and recycling wastes, is more than enough to care for and keep our great world safe. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

At what people think is the biggest nesting site in the world, tens of thousands of green sea turtles come to lay eggs. The turtles swim to Raine Island in Australia, but rising sea levels mean that water is threatening the island.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Andy Dunstan with Queensland Parks and Wildlife explained that one sea turtle mum is laying a clutch of 100 eggs, but the water will probably flood the eggs during the next high tide, and they will not develop.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To create space and protect sea turtle eggs from flooding, people reshaped and raised 150 metres of the island’s beach with great results; however, saving the turtles is not cheap or easy. A public partnership is funding this effort at about 8 million Australian dollars over 5 years.</div>

Victoria was born with a condition which means that she cannot walk properly. The little girl’s legs have no calf bones. This is an unusual deformity that only affects less than one in a million people.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Her parents were devastated. Her mother said that when she saw her baby for the first time, she was in a lot of shock. She was expecting a full, healthy baby because on every scan, the doctors said that she was perfect.<br />
<br /></div>
<a href="https://billadvocates.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/medical_billing_100422550.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de medical help" border="0" height="212" src="https://billadvocates.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/medical_billing_100422550.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
UK doctors have now told Victoria’s parents that the only option is to amputate their little girl´s legs. Her parents are now trying to raise 350 thousand pounds to take their daughter to America for life-changing treatment to save her legs. This is an operation which is not available in Britain and must be carried out before she reaches the age of two. The parents found a doctor in the US who could save her legs. The treatment would include three operations.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So far, the couple has raised around a hundred thousand pounds. Friends and family are trying to raise the rest of the funds before June when Victoria turns two. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<u><b>Summary:</b></u> Victory is a little girl who unfortunately was born with a rare deformity and cannot walk without the help of his parents, many doctors wanted to amputate his legs because they could not find a solution, until a US doctor said he could help and save his legs, but the operation is very expensive. Now her family is trying to get the money to finnaly help the little baby Victoria.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<u><b>My Opinion:</b></u> In my personal I think that Victoria is just another case of the great problem of the Medicine today. I mean, the world right now is complety structured to help only those people who can pay for the service and finally nothing for the others. Medical help should be free and for all equally regardless of anything other than to always help.</div>

Designer Suzanne Lee shares her experiments in growing a kombucha-based material that can be used like fabric or vegetable leather to make clothing. The process is fascinating, the results are beautiful and the potential is simply wonderful.<br />
<div>
<br />
Suzanne Lee recently joined the biotechnology start-up as its creative director.<br />
"You can actually have a dress growing in a vat of liquid." Lee says. “Imagine leather that’s as lightweight and transparent as a butterfly wing or has the natural stretch of rubber” In nature, such qualities rise from the spontaneous assembly of biological cells. Manipulating cell cultures, scientists at Modern Meadow can customize a material’s strength, texture, weight, and elasticity. It’s an idea Lee hopes will take fabric—and with its fashion—in an entirely new direction.<br />
<br />
“What’s fundamentally changed is our ability to look at materials in nature and say, with a straight face, that we can potentially make them with biotech,” says Dan Widmaier, Bolt Threads’s chief executive officer. I thing that could benefit fabric manufacturers, but more importantly, it could benefit the environment. Most existing materials have a significant downside: Cotton farming uses intensive pesticides, and synthetic fabrics such as polyester are made with petroleum. The roughly 14 billion square feet of leather produced from bovines annually requires millions of animals, consuming billions of gallons of water and pounds of feed a day—to say nothing of the methane emissions. Lee says of her fabric: “It use less water, hell yeah. Low energy, absolutely. Less chemicals, less dyes. Throw it in the garden when you’re finished with it.” <br />

Lee founded a design consultancy called Biocouture in order to accelerate the development and the adoption of new biological materials<br />
She made a collection of coats using the microbial cellulose: a bomber jacket, a denim-style jacket, a biker jacket. Although the designs were conventional, they looked otherworldly and slightly translucent. “Production from bacteria is so alien,” she says, that she wanted to create familiar garments to show it wasn’t so strange.</div>
<div>
She grew the material at home, Lee exactly in her bathtub. As it dried, it becoming into a substance similar to the leather. But she found that it absorbed plant dyes more easily than normal fabric. </div>
<div>
“This is potentially revolutionary,” she says, then laughs. “Oh lord, there’s a fashion designer trying to save the world.” <br />

<div class="in-content-skip" style="line-height: 23.4px; padding: 10px 0px;">
This first step lasts about 1h.</div>
<div class="in-content-skip" style="line-height: 23.4px; padding: 10px 0px;">

3-Dilute sugar<br />
4-Let the mix cool down. (Temperature under 30º Celsius)<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Step 2 - Setting up the SCOBY </b>(Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria and Yeast)<br />
This step lasts about 5 minutes. It is very important that the liquid is below 30°Celius, before adding the other ingredients: - to prevent odor vinagar emission - not to kill the starter and SCOBY.<br />
<br />
5- Pour the vinegar + add mix previously madre + The starter mix<br />
6- Add your Scoby too.<br />
7- Cover the tray and protect it from the light.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Step 3 - Fermentation ste</b><br />
This stage lasts about 15 days. If you want a thin sheet, a Baby Scoby 5 min thick enough. If you want a fabric like leather, wait your baby Scoby do about 2cm.<br />
<br />
8- Let stand 5 days, and Baby Scoby will start to grow.<br />
9- Regularly spread gently the Baby Scoby to get rid of bubbles.<br />
<br />
<b>Step 4 - End of culture and start drying</b><br />
You can dry your SCOBY on a board of wood or plastic, glass, .... According to the media, the end result will be different!<br />
<br />
10- Hand wash your Scoby with soapy cold water.<br />
11- Dry your Baby Scoby on a leaned wooden board.<br />
<br />
<div class="row" style="box-sizing: inherit; margin-left: -15px; margin-right: -15px;">

In this description of a person I have chosen one of my classmates, well my shadow, because we are toghether in all the classe. I knew her two years ago, but I actually met her like a friend last year. Her name is Isàlia, she is an humanistic student and she loves arts, so she wants to study philology. Her current hobby is to play the piano and she actually loves her German lessons. By the way, she loves to study! </div>
<a href="https://previews.123rf.com/images/quka/quka1304/quka130400017/19083877-Personas-3D-con-lupa-y-la-silueta-de-negocios-en-el-fondo-blanco-Foto-de-archivo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de foto silueta persona con lupa" border="0" height="200" src="https://previews.123rf.com/images/quka/quka1304/quka130400017/19083877-Personas-3D-con-lupa-y-la-silueta-de-negocios-en-el-fondo-blanco-Foto-de-archivo.jpg" width="198" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Speaking about appearence, she's a casual girl, I mean her style is very comfortable and cute. The colours which she's used to wearing are neutral, not strong or bright colour, just neutral. She never wears handbag she usually wears a backpack or just she doesn't. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Her outfits are actually simple or maybe sportive, she wears jeans and jerseys very normal jerseys, no stripes and no patterns, just with plain shoes. She never wears rings, necklaces, bracelets or earings, and if she does, it is so strange. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
About her personality she's addicted to pizza and she's obsessed with the "diacriticals accents". She is a very normal girl, maybe very energetic too and hard working. She is the most generous person than I aver have the pleasure to me. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In my opinion, she is the classmate I have in class, she always helps me and she's very tolerant with me and finally she is an amazing person. It is a great and big support for me.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<img border="0" height="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWSXWWXWt0j6ksJ_atD9j4DnhJEVgr8p-HP42GAfLa2LHlyG90X3mraU3gy6FRh61h8ZuCj64b9E2reTVj6CgQ6uh5hNrcYQXCZiMUcvgRFEnjqbYWEfo5LvT5qtksud2QvgWtmeFDW10/s640/dibuixly.bmp" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Technically and according to this quiz, my style is "Romantic", well looking at the pictures I think it is right, I agree with the result. The colour I often wear in casual outfits is white, well actually bright colours. And as you can see, the girls in the image wear light and special clothes. But I don't wear only clothes like that, I love black and long dresses, and skirts too, usually when I dress up to go out with my friends I use dark colours or almost always black (like the girl in the middle of the picture). I wear dark clothes, wide and big clothes, jerseys and scarves... Well, I think the most important thing that defines us, and our style is how we feel wearing this outfit, and the most important thing for me is to be comfortable and feel good about myself. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
These are outfits that I would wear on a normal day, simple and comfortable, I actually never wear prints or printed on the tops or stripes, I really don't like it. I love boots, scarf, and jerseys. I like old styles, maybe a little more carefree, but if I feel fine, all will be fine.<br />

Nowadays my parents are in a trip, right now they are in Cuba to see the complete family and they will stay there a few days, exactly 25.<br />
I think it is so great for them because they are living in Spain since seven years ago, and since then until now they have not seen their parents, my grandparents, or their best friends.<br />
<br />
Well, what it the point of this? Actually the point is that my brother and I should be alone during those days and do the right things to survive to this new experience. Well the question is, what is it the right thing we have to do?<br />
<br />
I have to confess at the beginning of this adventure I was really afraid and maybe a little frightened too, to pass thoses days without my parents however with my brother, and I have to confess too that he's a really difficult person, because he's so special and his character and ideology is so different than mine, he's a cold person, and I usually express all my feelings and thoughts, and he is the opposite person than me.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://img.absolutviajes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Turismo-Cuba1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de cuba viaje" border="0" src="http://img.absolutviajes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Turismo-Cuba1.jpg" height="126" width="200" /></a><br />
But, well it's not so difficult as I think. We have to do a lot of tasks in home, it is exhausting do all alone, just my brother and me. But we are carry on, we keep calm and we get along well, maybe much better than I thought. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhM0GC4OTvo5TG1hhtd7sXAAC0tB4vVSjBWXLu7jmCJ4dXW9yNdzRCmXDqkPn0BFpxQFw1KFQ5JUBJb0L0BtMKM6QnB6SNUAr71Q9vu0PXNL1MA-3QH3PI7Xz3p_v0rR6FEFD6xQgh4So/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="392" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhM0GC4OTvo5TG1hhtd7sXAAC0tB4vVSjBWXLu7jmCJ4dXW9yNdzRCmXDqkPn0BFpxQFw1KFQ5JUBJb0L0BtMKM6QnB6SNUAr71Q9vu0PXNL1MA-3QH3PI7Xz3p_v0rR6FEFD6xQgh4So/s640/2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I agree with this "description" of me, yes, I actually think it is a description of me. I have to confess that I did this "Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test" with my big brother, who can help me seeing the external side of my personality and tell me what he actually things too.<br />
I'm a really <u>Introvert</u> person, I actually have a inner person inside, and I think I have a very spiritual side too. My brother says I'm more Sensing than Intuitive, but I don't think so, I'm a intuitive person who has to analyze the external world to feel good inside myself, comfortable, But it is not something to judge, it is just I like to meet the peolple with whom I am. Of course I'm more Feeling than Thinking, I think the logical thinking is not my strong point, my point is to connect with the people around me, and make them feel good and feel good with them too. Perceiving... well, I think in politicals o critical topics I'm maybe a fair person, the most, but with other thermes I always try to understand everyone and make them feel right. So, finally I think it is a right test of me, and I agree with that.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10891840015014696429noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4221049457085323316.post-81525432012300674192017-01-08T14:01:00.000-08:002017-03-13T09:44:31.388-07:00Man rows from Canada to Australia<div style="text-align: justify;">
British adventurer John Beeden has become the first person to row solo nonstop from North America to the Australian mainland. After rowing for 209 days, Beeden was helped with his first step onto dry land by one of his teenage daughters before being immediately greeted by Australian custom officials who wanted to check the rower’s passport details. The fifty-three-year-old had rowed for up to 15 hours a day to make the journey possible.</div>

Only ever do it once in your life!”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He had hoped to arrive by November, but weather conditions pushed him off course by more than a month.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“I didn’t think I could go on and had to dig deep… and getting pushed back hundreds of miles that you've already rowed and you have to row it all again.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
John's wife Sheryl had made the journey from Canada to Cairns with their two daughters, having not been with him since he left on his six-metre boat Socks II on June 1st this year.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"I kind of think it's like childbirth cause he says he's not going to get in another boat for a while, but I am sure in a couple of weeks he'll be having some other adventure, and I’ll have to restrain him a little bit."</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">Summary:</b> John Beeden is a british man who is the first adventurer to row alone from Canada, North America to Australia. Probably because I'm just not capable of such actions. I am afraid of water, actually not water, but the ocean scares me. The greatness of the sea makes us feel so insignificant, maybe is that what scares us. But I think is fascinating that people are able to do something so special like share the most intimate of your person with a world as big as the sea. </div>

Now, in our culture, ‘western culture’, it is so difficult to speak about “death”. But death is a normal cycle in life, I mean, if you are born to live, you should die, shouldn’t you? So, why are we so scandalized or afraid with our death? The answer is because we feel fear to the loss of an important person? Is it because we are afraid to lose our youth? Or maybe is it because we don’t know what is going on after death? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, we don’t know what the other people think and that can not be the same in all people, right? So now, I will say what I think about death. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Personally, I would define the death like a “physical death”, well, of course I don’t actually know what death is, but I think death is not a real death, or at least it sounds much better than a simple and cold death. However, it is clear to me that I, in particular, or a normal person, don’t think, or maybe don’t pay attention day to day that we live everyday with death in our backs. We are not aware, because we never see that. As I see it, only a special person, that has lived a special contact or moment with Death, can be the person who talks about death. But I can only say why I think people are afraid of death.</div>
<br />
<div dir="ltr" style="margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/proxy/AVvXsEg29Sy5xzO6FHc3I3Z5QzIH7ou-bjCGdRXeacrvoqe-8zXz2HVlVVs3GY5AIuSOXQTTU3vIpAsWbIzvQrTdDK58xMS8-AdIyuu53OwdcO8NxIy96RG5CnUW2ONo3hq3P5n7adau9gVQKupBt8ci3tjfN4tQBJluBUH1Dly_v6Evfj1Q7a3ztIiP0ZM=" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img alt="Resultado de imagen de taboo death" border="0" src="http://philosophycave.weebly.com/uploads/4/9/1/9/49194993/7168974_orig.jpg" height="200" width="192" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First of all, in my view, people don’t talk about death with another person because this person is hurt, he or she has lost a close friend or a familiar… so we don’t know how we should talk with them about the loss of these person, so we avoid the talk. What is more, we avoid the talk even when the supposed loss has been overcome. Maybe because it is so hard for us, or maybe because it is so hard for them to remember all the pain, or perhaps it is so hard for us remember that one day, however far the moment is, in the end we are going to die, so we fake that death doesn’t exist. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Finally, when you die, you leave this world, and you never return, so nobody else knows what is on the “other side” or even if it is there, and we can only cry, and suffer the loss that we love. Although I think, we are crying the loss, or we are crying because we don’t know where they go, or if they will be fine or bad? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is not over, and never will until I die and find the answers, but unluckily I can’t tell you the answers. So maybe it is better don’t talk anymore. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
This song was writed by Tracy Chapman on 1988, during the Cold War. Is considered a Marxist song for his lyrics, In this Tracy Chapman is trying to change the things, change the world because she thing that has to change. Why? Because the people, the mankind, the society is so unjust with the poor people, the classified them like a poor or rich people and discriminates them by treacting them in very differents ways. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She relates a portrait for all this people, because the other people that doesn't do this, has right to live a better life, but they don't let them to do it. She making reference to "the bougrgeoise", and she say "run" to them because the poor class is going to take command and the things are going to be different. </div>

The last summer, my boyfriend invited me to spend a few days with him and his mother on a trip, because her sister was studying in France and we were going to visit her. She was in France to learn the language and live a little more. She was studying in a beatiful place, it was fantastic, everything around you was nature, peace and harmony.<br />
Really I'm still in love with that place, and I plan to visit it some day when I have the resources to do it. But it isn't only the place, and the beauty, but also the people was fantastic, they really wanted you to feel good. They help you, and help each other, so everyone help. That was the first impression for me.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpRMsyOSbfjkvDkTsf8uvRmqaBrYDmmdk6NV5abVSEg0Jl6wtAjZ6lR5SvwdJNrVDR4mPAkpSrJ3RCrpA5RmEWzG8HDGOrEn65ZwRWKNA_9cOzxN0wQ5YWxfStFtugSPJYhJQMlNTX4e0/s1600/IMG-20160625-WA0000.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpRMsyOSbfjkvDkTsf8uvRmqaBrYDmmdk6NV5abVSEg0Jl6wtAjZ6lR5SvwdJNrVDR4mPAkpSrJ3RCrpA5RmEWzG8HDGOrEn65ZwRWKNA_9cOzxN0wQ5YWxfStFtugSPJYhJQMlNTX4e0/s320/IMG-20160625-WA0000.jpg" width="320" /></a>But that is not all, we visite a forest, oh, it was a very big and beatiful forest, the best forest that I have ever seen. Just fantastic, we spend the day at the forest, we walk so much, and we see the biggest trees. The forest is called "La Forêt de Tronçais". I think I can pass all the trip in this forest, but it is so cold too...<br />
We passed Sant Jordi there too, and it was very different and special, there it is customary to go all white to live the summer and together make a bonfire... We danced and we had a lot of fun. For me it was a moment very special in my life, to know new cultures and customs to do things that maybe are better or more special. So it was the best trip and experience in my summer... Really I love it.<br />

A few days ago, I had only one cat, that's fun, because now I have two. My "original cat" is named Gary, he is a white beatiful cat. He came home three years ago because I found him in the street and me and my family picked up him and we take him at home. He is a cat very lonely and sometimes grumpy, but if you don't treat him like a crybaby he is a very special cat, and so lovely.<br />

<br />
But some days ago, I was doing my homeworks and my mother told me a little kitten was in our street and she was hungry and alone, I thought that I had seen her before. I thought going to give her food and give her some help because she is so little. I have cat food in house for Gary, of course, so I took it and I went down to give her.<br />
<br />
Me and my mom open the door and call her, and it was a matter of seconds that she entered into the garage. Certainly she was so hungry and alone, she caressed us and she was very affectionate with us, as if she always knew us.<br />
<br />
At the moment of leaving her out. her little face watching me and my mom like a desolate baby, really she looked like that... It was so sad, and my mom, actually not me, said that we would let her spend the night at home, and once she get home, and found her site, seriously she had found already her house. And so far, live with us. Her name is Nala.<br />

She was so scared because Gary did not leave room for her, so she was not welcome for him. But she is small and a little cat, and she annoys him all the time with her games. So he ended up playing with her...<br />
<br />
They are so fun when they play together!<br />
